disclaimer: this is not because you demanded. It was already in the works and if I've learned anything from my new FlashForward obsession it is that you do not mess with fate.
As if LT getting married wasn't enough of an emotional rollercoaster, the engagement that happened three weeks prior was the straw that broke the camels back. The soundtrack of my life aka "Unwritten" on repeat, was re-mixed into "it's my party and i'll cry if i want to" in September. Needless to say, I was happy for the month of overstimulation to end.
So Emily will become a Kennedy on August 28, 2010 and while I knew this was coming I never really thought it would happen. She's the better half of my wardrobe, the scary half of my dark and twisty persona and I wouldn't want to imagine post-grad, 20-something life without her. And while she has ruined my favorite joke, please shut up about your wedding, I'm delighted in her choice of life partner. I love Jim almost as much as I love Emily and Nick loves Jim more than he loves me so I definately see many trips to California in the future. So begins another year of parties and ribbon bouquets.sigh
